About Congressional District 2
Texas's 2nd Congressional District covers portions of Harris and Montgomery counties — from north Houston through Spring, The Woodlands, and Conroe.
Who we are
Congressional District 2 is a diverse, growing district anchored by the northern Houston metro. It stretches from historic neighborhoods inside Loop 610, up through Spring and Klein, and north into The Woodlands and Conroe.
We are precinct chairs, delegates, SDEC members, Democratic clubs, caucuses, candidates, campaign staff, volunteers, and community partners — organizing year-round for representation that reflects the people who actually live here.
This website is the shared home for that work: one calendar, one leadership directory, one resource library, and one door for people who want to get involved.
A stronger, more connected Congressional District 2.
We exist to strengthen communication, improve transparency, support leadership, provide year-round training, organize volunteers, and connect Harris County and Montgomery County so that every neighbor knows how to get involved.
Communicate
Keep every precinct chair, delegate, club, and volunteer informed with one shared source of truth.
Organize
Coordinate block walks, phone banks, voter registration, and events across Harris and Montgomery counties.
Support
Amplify Democratic clubs, candidates, and elected officials with training, tools, and visibility.
The two counties
CD2 crosses the Harris–Montgomery county line. Both counties have their own party infrastructure, meeting cadences, and elections — we work in coordination with both.
Northern Harris precincts
